Kitchen Update - Part 3

[Another re-dated post that was originally written in June.]

Having considered and rejected plan "A" (see "Kitchen Update - Part 1") and figured out plan "B" (see "Kitchen Update - Part 2"), Bill dove in to the work.

He moved water lines, installed and connected the sewer line and moved electrical.

Here (above) are the water lines, extending towards the location
for the new washer/dryer closet (to the left outside of this photo)
and the electrical outlet that will be used for the new under-counter freezer.

A step back and you can see more of the water line extension
and, on the lower left, the electric plug for the gas range"starter".
(The silver box is the old location of the electric range plug.)

More water line extension and the electrical from the previous photo
plus the hole from the old above-stove fan and a wall outlet
(which will be above the cabinet to the left of the stove).

The end point of the water lines, the sewer pipe
and the new electrical outlet for the dryer
(silver square with round plug to the left of the white water/sewer box).

From the wall to the window, which will be (L-R)
the washer/dryer closet, a 24-in cabinet and the new gas range
with the range hood from the old house above.

Bill finished the adjustments for the new range hood (the hole for the fan and the electrical) and then got to work on closing it all up (insulation and plywood). When he was finished, it looked like this ...

Now, it was time for me to paint.
